I recently got into podcasting within the month, using Anchor as my podcasting host service. I've listen to podcasts for a while, notable ones are Patt Flynn's Smart Passive Income Podcast and Ian Roth's Talking Llama. Both podcast help a person get started into podcasting.

Podcast is a form of digital media, using audio to share topics and ideas. In this light, it's composed of audio alone, and has no form visuals. In a sense it's like a radio show, but pre-recorded.

One thing this medium has is it versatility, despite not having visuals. Patt Flynn has discussed how podcast can connect to the audience in a more intimate form. The way it's done is by listening to a podcast while doing something else.

You can be exercising, writing, doing homework, cooking, and etc. This allows a person to both learn something from the podcast, and get a task done seamlessly. You get to listen to interesting topics about your hobbies, or learn something for the course you're studying.

Whatever that is, podcasting can help you learn, but not everyone can learn by listening alone. You may need visuals, so I suggest youtube for those lessons. Still though the benefits of podcast are good and can help you be more productive.
